Edward Bok recalls the music of bells games from his childhood in Holland, and he instructed the famous John Taylor Bell Foundry companies of England to a world-class carillon for his ‘Singing Tower’ as a center of the garden. The carillon is one of only 4 in Florida and its 60 bells weighing from 16 pounds to nearly 12 tons. Short Glockenspiel recorded music is played all 30 minutes, and the considerations are daily at 1 and 3 pm. During my visit I was able to catch the performance 1 am, and just outside the Carillon Tower is a television screen with a live broadcast of the carillonneur performance.
